Mudguard, bracket and rear-light repairs
A broken mudguard can rub the tyre, damage wiring or leave a rear light unsupported. Lifty checks the mudguard, mounting points, support bracket, tyre clearance and integrated lighting before fitting a replacement.
Common workshop requests
- Cracked or missing front and rear mudguards
- Loose brackets and damaged mounting screws
- Tyre rubbing after a mudguard impact
- Rear light or cable damage built into the mudguard
- Replacement support brackets for compatible models
Model name alone may not identify the correct part. Wheel size, mounting holes, production revision and light connector must match.
Can a mudguard be glued?
A temporary cosmetic repair may not tolerate vibration. Replacement or a suitable bracket is normally safer where the part is structural or supports a light.
Why check the tyre after mudguard damage?
An impact can change clearance or leave sharp edges that contact the tyre.
