Lifty Labs provides model-specific electric scooter and e-bike upgrades from Lifty Electrics' Dublin workshop, including tyres, brakes, waterproofing, batteries, diagnostics, servicing and selected conversion work.
Every upgrade starts with compatibility and safety checks. Installation time, price and suitability vary by model, existing condition, selected components and parts availability.

Solid and anti-puncture tyres
Model-specific solid-tyre and puncture-reduction options. Solid tyres can change comfort, grip and wheel stress and are not suitable for every scooter.
PMT and Pirelli tyres
Premium tyre suitability and installation where the exact size, rim and intended use are compatible.
Hydraulic and Magura brakes
Hydraulic brake servicing and selected upgrade work, including Magura MT5e options where mounting, sensors and system compatibility allow.
Waterproofing and rain resistance
Inspection and model-specific sealing improvements with honest IP-rating and usage limitations. No treatment makes every vehicle fully waterproof.
Battery replacement and upgrades
Battery assessment, safe replacement and selected capacity or range upgrades after voltage, controller, enclosure, BMS and charging checks.
Diagnostics and electrical work
Controller, display, motor, charging and wiring diagnostics before replacement or upgrade decisions.
Suspension and restoration
Condition-led suspension work, replacement components, restoration and customisation where safe parts are available.
Annual and mini servicing
Inspection and servicing appropriate to use, mileage, wear, model and current condition.
E-bike conversion kits
Assessment of suitable conventional bicycles for eligible electric conversion components. Frame, brakes, wheel, legal rating and intended use must be checked.

Can every electric scooter use solid tyres?
No. Suitability depends on the wheel, rim, tyre size, model year, suspension and intended riding conditions. Lifty must confirm compatibility.
Can waterproofing make my scooter fully waterproof?
No. Waterproofing can improve resistance on suitable models, but it does not remove all water-ingress risk or override manufacturer limitations.
Can Lifty upgrade an electric scooter battery?
Some models may support safe replacement or capacity upgrades, but voltage, BMS, enclosure, controller, charger and wiring compatibility must be assessed first.
How long does an upgrade take?
