Suspension inspection and repair
Lifty assesses electric scooter forks, shocks, bushings, pivots, springs, elastomers and mounting hardware. The aim is to restore controlled movement without hiding frame, bearing or alignment faults.
Symptoms to investigate
- Knocking, squeaking or excessive play
- Fork or shock that binds, bottoms out or sits unevenly
- Oil leakage from serviceable dampers
- Damaged bushings, bolts or suspension mounts
- Poor tracking after an impact
Safety checks beyond the shock
A suspension complaint can involve steering bearings, wheel bearings, loose fasteners, tyre pressure or frame damage. Lifty checks related components before treating it as a shock-only fault.
Stop riding if a fork, swingarm, pivot or mount is cracked, bent or loose. Suspension parts carry structural loads.
Can Lifty make any suspension softer or harder?
Only when the system is adjustable or a compatible component exists. Rider weight, geometry and available travel set practical limits.
Does replacing a shock repair a bent frame?
No. Frame alignment and mounting points must be safe before suspension components are installed.
