The EP-2 Boost combines a legal EU 250W pedal-assist motor with a torque sensor, 55Nm listed torque, 20 × 4-inch fat tyres and a folding frame. Assistance cuts at 25 km/h; the rider still pedals, which is precisely the point.

Why commuters like it
Fat tyres add grip and comfort, the folding frame helps storage, and the rack-and-mudguard format is practical. The trade-off is weight: carrying 30 kg up three flights of stairs is a gym membership you did not request.
Charging versus driving
A nominal 0.624kWh battery costs about €0.25 at €0.40/kWh before losses. Your true saving depends on the car, parking, insurance and journeys replaced. The EP-2 Boost saves most when it becomes daily transport, not weekend furniture.
