INMOTION S ONE: legal speed, grown-up range
By Marco Sants · Reviewed by Lifty Labs
Dublin commuting has a peculiar talent: a short journey can still eat an hour. The Ireland-specific INMOTION S ONE takes a calmer approach—factory-listed at 400W, 20 km/h and approximately 24 kg, with 10-inch tubeless tyres and a 54V 12.5Ah battery.

The real specifications
- 400W rear hub motor
- 20 km/h Ireland configuration
- 54V 12.5Ah / 675Wh battery
- Up to 95 km claimed in Eco mode for a 60 kg rider
- Approx. 24 kg; 130 kg listed load
- 10-inch tubeless tyres
Range claims are best-case figures. Cold weather, hills, tyre pressure, rider weight and enthusiastic acceleration all reduce them. Marco’s rule: buy for your real weekly route, not for a heroic laboratory number.
Why it can save money and time
A nominal 0.675kWh battery costs about €0.27 to fill at an illustrative €0.40/kWh before charging losses. Compare that with fuel, parking and the daily hunt for a space. The strongest saving comes when the scooter replaces a suitable car journey—not when it becomes another unused gadget in the hall.
Pros
- Factory-listed Ireland configuration matches the key power, speed and weight thresholds
- Large battery for a legal urban scooter
- Tubeless tyres and strong load rating
- Foldable and easier to park than a car
Know before you ride
Public-road legality depends on the exact supplied vehicle and manufacturer’s plate. Riders must be 16+, stay off footpaths, carry no passenger or goods and obey the rules of the road. Confirm the plate before use.
